Email Application Checklist
1. Passport:
The passport must be signed and it should have a minimum of nine months validity and two blank pages.
2. Photograph:
Two passport sized photographs with white background. Please make sure that the photograph is not older than six months.
4. UK Company Letter:
The applicant should submit a letter from his or her UK company. The letter should be written in the company’s official letterhead. It should cover all important details about the applicant that include his or her employment status and position held in the company. The letter should also describe the details of the trip that includes the name and addresses of the companies that will be visited by the foreign national. Please note that this letter should be addressed to the Angola High Commission.
If you are self-employed, you can submit your business license and tax return. Retired travelers can submit proof of retirement funds.
5. Invitation Letter:
An invitation letter issued by the Angolan company or person should be submitted. This letter should state the contact details of the applicant and host, accommodation confirmation, with the address, signature, and date. Invitation sent by a citizen must be attached with a notarized copy of the ID card. If the invitation is sent by a non-citizen, a copy of the passport, with the work visa or residence card must be submitted.
Note: The invitation letter should be written in Portuguese language.
6. Personal statement:
The applicant is required to provide a letter, addressed to the Consulate General of the Republic of Angola in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, requesting the visa and detailing the reason for the visit.
7. Travel proofs:
Proof of onward and return tickets should be submitted. This itinerary should detail the applicant’s name, duration of the trip, dates of entry and exit from Angola, and the places to be visited.
8. Accommodation details:
Details of confirmed hotel room reservation should be provided. The reservation proof should carry details that include name of the applicant and the duration of stay.
9. Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination:
The applicant is required to submit a copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever.
10. Livelihood Proof:
The proof of livelihood must be equal in value to 200 USD, per day of the trip. The applicant can submit the bank statement as the livelihood proof.
Note: Original and one copy of each document must be submitted by the applicant.
