Chad tourist visa

Tourist visas are issued by Chad authorities to foreign nationals who intend to visit the country exclusively for tourism-related activities like sight-seeing. Please note that these visas are issued only for tourism-related activities, and the traveler is not supposed to engage in any kind of activities while inside Chad.

Please find below the necessary documents that are required to obtain a Chad tourist visa.

The applicant should submit the original signed passport. This passport must have a validity of six months, and it should also have one blank page. If your passport has a validity of less than six months, do renew it before submitting the application to obtain a Chad tourist visa.
The traveler should submit two passport-sized photographs taken within the last six months. Please note that these photographs should be taken in a white background, and it should show the full-frontal view of the UK national’s head with the face centered in the middle.

Chad transit visa

For British nationals, there is no need to obtain a transit visa for 48 hours, if he or she is meeting the criteria mentioned below.

The applicant should hold a passport for the intended period of stay and it should be have a minimum of one blank page.
The traveler should hold proof of sufficient funds.
The traveler should have onward and return flight tickets.
The foreign national should hold all the documents that are required to travel to the next destination.
The applicant should confirm with the airline company that boarding is possible without a visa, as these rules are subject to change without any prior notice.

Chad private visa

The applicant should submit proof of onward and return flight tickets.

A signed invitation letter from the host in Chad should be submitted. This letter should detail the nature and purpose of the trip, and the host in Chad to guarantee the full financial responsibility of the traveler.

Chad transit in vehicle visa

In order to get a Chad transit in vehicle visa, foreign nationals should submit the below-mentioned documents.

The UK national should submit his or passport. This passport must have a validity of six months, and it should also have a blank page for markings.
A passport-sized photograph taken in a white background should be submitted. Please make sure that this photograph is taken within the last six months.
It is necessary to submit an International certificate of insurance of the vehicle and the persons on board.
Photocopy of the road map, along with the customs card should be submitted.

Note: Chad authorities offer both single and multiple entry transit in vehicle visa to foreign nationals. Single entry visas are valid for one month, and it allows foreign nationals to stay inside the country for 30 days.

Multiple entry visas offer a valid for three months, and using these travel documents, foreign nationals can stay inside the country for a maximum period of 90 days.
