Everything you need to know about a Lesotho Visa
UK
passport holders fall under the list of visa-exempt nationals, who can travel
to Lesotho without a visa and stay in the country for a specified period as per
their purpose of travel.
Once
you enter Lesotho borders, immigration officials will check your eligibility
and stamp the allowable stay period on your passport.
You should note that you
cannot overstay the allowed time span. If you fail to follow this policy, you
can face severe penalties, including detention, hefty fines, and deportation.
You
should note that if you do want a visa, there’s also a facility for visa on
arrival at entry ports. In order to avail either the visa-exemption or VOA
facility, you need to present a British citizen passport that has a remaining
validity of at least six months from your entry date and a minimum of two
unused visa pages.
Additional
documents which you should carry with you include proof of onward or return
travel and evidence of sufficient funds to sustain your said stay period in the
nation.
