hold proof of a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate.

- The machine-readable passport of the foreign national should be valid for at least six months, and it should have adequate blank pages for markings.

Maldives transit visa
Foreign nationals transiting to a different destination via Maldives can enter the country without a passport if he or she is meeting the conditions mentioned below.
- The foreign national should make sure that he or she is staying in the International transit area of the airport.
- The passport of the applicant should have a minimum validity of six months, along with one blank page.
- It is necessary to hold proof of sufficient funds.
- The traveler should hold proof of onward/return flight tickets, and should also hold all documents required for the next destination.
- It is necessary to hold visa for the next country as applicable.
- Before boarding, please confirm with the airline that boarding is allowed without a visa.
