To get this visa, a traveler should submit the documents mentioned below.

• It is necessary to submit the original, signed passport of the UK citizen. Please note that this passport has a minimum validity of six months from the date of travel, and at least one blank page for visa stamping. If the validity of your passport is less than six months, do renew it before sending the application.
• Two passport-sized photographs taken in a white background, within the last six months should be submitted. The passport should be printed in high quality paper, and it should show the full-frontal view of the applicant’s head with the face centered in the middle. In the photograph, the applicant should make sure that he or she is maintaining a neutral facial expression.
• It is necessary to submit copy of roundtrip tickets or the full version of the itinerary. If you are submitting the itinerary, please make sure that it is being sent by an airline company or a registered travel agent.
• It is mandatory to submit an International Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination to enter Mali.
• The applicant should submit details of confirmed hotel room booking reservation. This reservation confirmation should show the name of the applicant, dates of stay, name of the hotel, and its address.

• Two original copies of the signed declaration form from the company in Mali should be submitted.

Mali transit visa

All UK nationals can stay visa free for 24 hours if they are transiting through Mali to a different destination.

• The UK national should hold a valid passport.
• It is necessary to hold proof of sufficient funds.
