To Know About Norway visa
All British nationals can stay inside Norway for 90 days
without a visa. If you are a foreign national residing in the United Kingdom,
it is very much necessary to obtain a visa to enter Norway.

Norway tourist visas are issued to foreign nationals who plan to enter the country exclusively for tourism-related activities. These visas are valid for three months, and foreign nationals can stay inside the country for three months using these travel documents.

- All foreign nationals should submit their passports which has a minimum of six months validity and two blank pages.
- Applicants should submit two passport-sized photographs taken within the last three months. Please note that these photographs are taken in a white background. These photographs should show the full-frontal view of the applicant’s head with the face centered in the middle.
- The complete itinerary should be submitted. The itinerary should be sent by an airline company or a travel agent. Please note that authorities in Norway will determine the number of entries in your visa based on the itinerary.
- An employment letter from the traveler’s UK company should be submitted. Please note that this employment letter should be addressed to the Norway High Commission. This employment letter should assure that the traveler will return to work after completing the Norway trip. If the traveler is self-employed, he or she can submit the copy of business license or tax return. Retired people can submit proofs of retirement funds.
- The applicant is required to submit proof of hotel room booking. Please make sure that this accommodation proof should show the name of the traveler, name of the hotel, address of the hotel, dates of stay etc.
- As the foreign national is residing in the United Kingdom, he or she should submit the ILR card or proof of residence permit. Please note that this proof of residence permit has a validity of six months after you return from Norway.
- The applicant should submit last three months’ bank statements, and it should show a minimum balance of £600. Please note that this bank statement should be stamped by the issuing bank.
- The proof of travel insurance should be submitted. This travel insurance should provide coverage throughout the Schengen area, and the minimum coverage for medical emergency and repatriation should be €30,000.
- The foreign national should fill the visa application in a legible manner, without any errors.
Note: Like all other Schengen visas, validity of a Norway tourist visa is three months. Using these visas, foreign nationals can stay inside the country for a maximum period of six months per entry.
Norway business visa
Foreign nationals who plan to visit Norway for business related activities can apply for a business visa.

- The original, signed passport of the applicant should be submitted. The passport should have a minimum validity of six months, and it should have two blank pages for markings.
- Two passport-sized photographs of the applicant should be submitted. The passport sized photograph should be taken in a white background, and it should show the full-frontal view of the applicant’s head with the face centered in the middle. Please make sure that the passport photograph is not older than three months.
- Being a foreign national residing in the United Kingdom, it is necessary to submit the ILR card or the proof of resident status.
- It is necessary to submit the full version of the itinerary. The itinerary should be sent directly by the airline company, or by a travel agency. Please understand that the number of entries in the visa will be determined based on the submitted itinerary.
- The foreign national should submit the confirmed copy of hotel room booking reservation. This accommodation proof should show the name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, and the expected duration of stay.
- The applicant should submit an employment letter from his or her employer in the United Kingdom. Please note that this employment letter should detail the purpose of the trip, and should also state that the foreign national will return to work after completing the trip. In case, if you are self-employed, you can submit the copy of business license or tax return. If you are a retired personal, you can submit proofs of retirement funds.
- It is necessary to submit an invitation letter from the Norway company. This letter addressed to the Consulate of Norway should detail the nature of the trip, and should also guarantee the financial responsibility of the traveler.
- The applicant should submit the bank statements issued within the last three months.
- It is also necessary to submit proof of travel insurance.
Note: Using a business visa, all foreign nationals will get a visa validity of three months and travelers can stay inside the country for a maximum period of 90 days per entry.
Norway medical visa
Norway issues medical visas to foreign nationals who plan to enter the country for medical related activities and other surgical procedures.
