Please find below the necessary documents that are needed to obtain Slovakia tourist visas.
- The foreign national should submit the passport, and it should have a minimum validity of six month, and two blank pages.
- Two photographs of the applicant taken within the last three months should be submitted. Please note that these photographs should be taken in a white background, and in the photograph, the applicant should maintain a neutral facial expression.
- The traveler residing in the United Kingdom should submit the ILR card or proof of residence status. Please note that this residence proof has a validity of six months after completing the trip to Slovakia.
- It is necessary to submit the full version of the itinerary. This itinerary should be sent directly by an airline company or a travel agency. The validity of the visa will be determined by authorities in Slovakia based on this itinerary.
- An employment letter issued by the applicant’s employer in the UK should be submitted. This employment letter should be addressed to the Slovakia High Commission. This UK company letter should state that a leave has been granted to the traveler, and he or she will return to work after completing foreign trip. Self-employed travelers can submit the copy of business license or tax return. If the traveler is retired, he or she can submit proof of retirement funds.
- Copy of hotel room booking reservation should be submitted.
- A recent bank statement stamped by the issuing bank should be submitted. Please note that this bank statement should show a minimum balance of £600.
- A travel insurance valid throughout the Schengen area should be submitted. Please note that this insurance is issued in the United Kingdom, and it is providing a minimum coverage of €30,000 for medical emergency and repatriation.
- The applicant should complete the Slovakia visa application form without any errors.
Note: The validity of a Slovakia tourist visa is three months, and using this travel document, a foreign national can stay inside the country for a maximum period of 90 days per entry.
Slovakia business visa
Slovakia issues business visas to foreign nationals who plan to intend the country for business-related activities.
Please find below the necessary documents that are required to obtain these business visas.
- It is necessary to submit the passport of the applicant which has a minimum validity of six months. The applicant should make sure that this passport has two blank pages for markings. If the validity of your current visa is less than six months, please renew it before submitting the visa application.
- Two passport-sized photographs taken within the last three months should be provided. Please note that these photographs are taken in a white background.
- The traveler should submit the original ILR card or the proof of resident status. Please make sure that the proof of residence status has a validity of six months after completing the Slovakia trip.
- The full version of the itinerary detailing the travel date should be submitted. This itinerary should be sent directly by the airline company or travel agency. Foreign nationals should understand that the number of entries in your Slovakia business visa will be determined by the authorities based on this itinerary.
- It is necessary to submit an employment letter issued by the traveler’s UK employer. This employment letter should be addressed to the Slovakia High Commission.
