Email Application Checklist
1. Passport:
The passport must be signed and it should have a minimum of six months validity and two blank pages.
2. Photograph: A passport sized photograph with a light background, taken within the last six months. In the photograph, the applicant should make sure that he or she is maintaining a neutral facial expression.

4. Personal Statement:
The personal statement should detail the purpose of the visit, along with the details of the person with whom the foreign national is staying during his time in Afghanistan. It is also necessary to provide details of accommodation in this statement. The personal statement must also state that the applicant is aware of all the risks involved, and takes complete responsibility for any liability caused during the journey to Afghanistan or anything as a result of it.
5. UK Company Letter:
It is necessary to submit a letter from the applicant’s UK workplace/school. The letter should be written on the company’s business letterhead, and it should be addressed to the Afghanistan embassy. The letter must state the date of employment of the applicant, and if he/she is employed permanently. It must also mention that the applicant was granted leave and intends to return to the current place of employment. Self-employed applicants must produce a copy of business license, tax return or accountant letter. Retired applicants are required to provide proof of retirement fund.
6. Invitation Letter:
An invitation letter issued by the Afghanistan company approved by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
