All foreign nationals except citizens of
Libya, Morocco, Malaysia, Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mali, Seychelles, Mauritania,

Visa applications of UK citizens and Republic
of Ireland will be processed by the consulate of Algeria in London. The applications
should be submitted in person or via courier in the Algerian consulate, from 9:30
am - 12:00 noon between Tuesday to Saturday. These applications can be also

Algeria Tourist visa
Algeria tourist visas are issued foreign
nationals including the citizens of the United Kingdom who intend to visit the
African country for exclusive tourism needs. It should be noted that foreign
nationals should not engage in any kind of business or work while visiting
Algeria using a tourist visa. Please find below the necessary requirements to
obtain an Algerian tourist visa.
- The
applicant should submit his actual signed passport. The passport submitted
by the foreign national should have at least six months, and it should
also have two blank pages.
- The
applicant should complete and sign two application forms, and should send it
to the consulate of Algeria in London.
- The
photograph submitted by the applicant should be taken within the last
three months.
- The
applicant is required to submit his or her proof of employment. This proof
could be a letter from the applicant’s employer confirming the foreign national’s

- The

What are the requirements to take a child
visa?
A child is considered a legal adult in
Algeria when he or she reaches the age of 18 years.
A child will be considered an Algerian national
if his or her father is an Algerian. If such children are traveling out of Algeria
or from the United Kingdom to Algeria, his or her father should sign the Autorisation
Paternelle. If a child under 18 years is planning to travel to Algeria from the
United Kingdom alone, he or she should submit a letter from their parent or
guardian granting permission to travel.
Minor children should also produce their
birth certificate along with the parental authorization.
What is the validity of an Algeria tourist
visa?
Algeria offers both single entry and
multiple entry visas to foreign nationals. In usual cases, the validity of an
Algerian tourist visa is three months. For single entry visas, a foreign
traveler can stay the whole granted period consecutively.
For multiple entry tourist visas, the
foreign national can stay either consecutively in Algeria for 180 days, or can
enter the country multiple times as per the traveler’s convenience.
Note: In usual cases, visa submitted in
person will be sanctioned within ten days. However, if you are sending a visa
application via email, then the processing time will be at least 15 days.
Algeria Business visa
If the foreign national is planning to
visit Algeria for business activities, then it is recommended to apply for a
business visa. Algeria offers both single entry and multiple entry business
visas to foreign nationals. However, for both single and multiple entry
business visas, the Algerian consulate will decide its validity as per the
requirement of the applicant.

Algeria Transit visa
Algeria transit visas are issued to

the international transit area of the airport.
