Everything You Need To Know About Bangladesh
Visa
Being
a sovereign state, all foreign nationals except citizens of 23 visa exempt
countries require a visa to visit Bangladesh.
It should be noted that the
United Kingdom is not a visa-exempt country, and as a result, all British nationals
should obtain a visa to enter Bangladesh. Citizens of United Kingdom can either
obtain a visa before starting the journey, or they can obtain a visa on arrival
which will allow them to stay inside the country for 30 days.
Even though
obtaining a visa on arrival is the easiest option for travelers, experts
recommend everyone to get a visa before the travel date.
Based
on the nature, purpose and other requirements of the foreign nationals, authorities
in Bangladesh used to issue different visas, and the most noted ones are
mentioned below.
