British nationals can either apply for an e-visa or regular visa to enter Guinea. Depending on the nature and purpose of the trip, authorities in Guinea have classified their visas into several types that include Tourist, Business and Transit.

Guinea tourist e-visa ETA

Guinea tourist e-visas are basically an electronic travel authorization that allows foreign nationals to enter the country legally. These electronic authorizations can be obtained without visiting the Guinea embassy, and all you need to do is mail the necessary documents to us. 

In order to obtain a Guinea tourist e-visa, all foreign nationals should submit the documents mentioned below.

• The copy of the applicant’s passport should be submitted. The passport should have a minimum validity of six months, and it should also have sufficient blank pages for markings.
• Digital copy of the applicant’s passport should be submitted. In the photograph, applicant should maintain a neutral facial expression.
• The applicant should submit the onward and return flight tickets, or the complete version of the itinerary.
• A copy of the yellow fever vaccination certificate should be submitted.

Note: Upon submission of these documents mentioned above, foreign nationals will get the e-visa within three or four business days. Guinea tourist visa

Foreign nationals planning to enter Guinea exclusively for tourism-related activities can apply for a tourist visa. These visas are offered exclusively for tourism activities, and using these documents, no traveler can engage in any kind of works while staying in Guinea.

• The original, signed passport of the UK citizen should be submitted. This signed passport should have a validity of six months and one blank page.
• Two passport-sized photographs should be submitted. These photographs should be taken in a white background, and it should show the full-frontal view of the applicant’s head with the face centered in the middle.

Note: Guinea offers both single and multiple entry visas for foreign nationals. The validity of a single-entry visa ranges from one month to three months, while multiple entry visas are valid for six months and one year. Guinea business visa

Travelers planning to enter Guinea for business-related activities can apply for a business visa. These visas can be obtained by submitting the documents mentioned below.

• Two passport-sized photographs taken within the last six months should be submitted.

This letter should be addressed to the Consulate of Guinea, and it should not be older than one month. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead.
• The foreign national should submit an invitation letter issued by the company in Guinea. This letter should be written on the company’s letterhead, and it should mention the desired type and validity of the visa.

Guinea transit visas

UK nationals who are transiting to a different destination through Guinea do not need a visa to stay inside the transit area in the airport for 24 hours. 

However, in order to enjoy this privilege, the foreign national should meet the conditions mentioned below.

• The traveler should have a valid passport.
• The foreign national should make sure that he or she is not leaving the transit area in the airport.
• The foreign national should hold proof of onward and return flight tickets, along with proof of sufficient funds.
