All foreign nationals except citizens of visa-exempt
counties need a visa to enter Peru. For citizens of the United Kingdom, a visa
is not required if the traveler is intending to visit Peru for tourism-related
activities.

days.

- The
traveler should also confirm with the airline that a boarding is permitted
without a visa, as these rules are subject to change without any prior notice.
Note: If citizens of countries like India who reside
in the United Kingdom are planning to enter Peru, it is very much necessary to
obtain a visa before the travel date to visit the country.
Peru business visa
If a UK national intends to visit Peru for business-related
activities, it is mandatory to obtain a business visa. To get a business visa, travelers
should submit the documents mentioned below.
- It
is necessary to submit a valid passport which is machine readable. Please note
that this passport should have a minimum validity of six months, and it should
also have one blank page for markings.
- A
photograph of the applicant taken in a white background should be submitted.
Please note that this photograph is taken within the last six months, and it should
provide the full-frontal view of the applicant’s head with the face centered in
the head. In this photograph, the applicant should also make sure that he or
she is maintaining a neutral facial expression.
- As
a proof of travel arrangement, the foreign national should submit copies of onward
and return flight tickets, or the complete version of the itinerary.
- In
order to prove the financial health of the traveler, the foreign national should
submit copy of recent bank statements.
- To
obtain a Peru business visa, it is mandatory to submit an employment letter
issued by the traveler’s UK employer. This letter should be written in the
company’s letterhead, and it should briefly introduce the applicant. This
employment letter should also detail the purpose and nature of the traveler’s
Peruvian visit, and it should also assure the full financial responsibility of
the foreign national.
- If
you are visiting a Peruvian company, all UK nationals should submit an invitation
letter from the host company in Peru. This letter should be signed by the
company’s representative, and it should explain the nature and purpose of the
foreign national’s trio to Peru.

allow foreign nationals to enter Peru and complete film and media activities.
